Product Name :
Rabbit anti Indole-3-butyric acid
Description :
| Clone Polyclonal | Isotype Ig | Product Type Primary Antibodies | Units 1 ml | Host Rabbit | Application ELISA Immuno-affinity-chromatography
Background :
Rabbit immune serum Immunogen: BSA-Indole-3-butyric acid conjugate
Source :
Indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) is a plant hormone belonging to the group of auxins. It is used to stimulate root formation in plant cuttings. <
Product :
Each vial contains 1 ml ProtA purified rabbit polyclonal antibody containing 0.02% sodium azide.
Specificity :
Target: Indole-3-butyric acid (IBA), CAS no.: 133-32-4, Solubility target: Methanol, ethanol. Species Reactivity: Cross Reactivity Indole-3-actic acid
Applications :
The antibody may be used in ELISA and Immuno-affinity-chromatography (IAC). Samples may include cutting medium samples and extraction of these samples may be performed using PBS-10% methanol, followed by neutralisation of the extract.Suggested dilution !:50,000 in the indirect ELISA and 1:12,800 in the direct ELISA (this titer is defined as the dilution that gives 50 % of the absorbance from the maximum absorbance when tested with ELISA). Plates are coated with 400 ng/ml ovalbumine-conjugated indole-3-butyric acid. HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG should be used as a tracer in a 1:8,000 dilution.
Storage :
Store at 4 °C or -20 °C. The working antibody solution is stable for at least 7 days at 4 °C. Precautions should be taken for storage for longer periods. Problems of longterm stability may occur with highly diluted solutions. For long storage purposes in solution the addition of sodium azide to 0.02 % is advised with the appropriate precautions of use.
