Product Name :
Streptavidin, conjugated with Texas Red

Description :
| Units 0.1 mg

Background :

Source :
As a fluorescent marker for biotine conjugates. It is of critical importance always to establish by titration the optimum working dilution, since it depends on the variables of the test arrangement. Working dilutions are usually from 2 to 5 μg/ml. <

Product :
Lyophilized, stable violet powder. 0.05% Sodium azide. Product Form: Texas Red Formulation: Lyophilized, stable violet powder. 0.05% Sodium azide.

Specificity :
Texas Red®-conjugated streptavidin.

Applications :
ELISA,Immunocytochemistry,Immunohistochemistry (frozen),(In)direct immunofluorescence. The conjugate is shipped at ambient temperature and must be stored at 4°C. Reconstitute the lyophilized product by adding 0.1 ml sterile water. Spin down to remove insoluble particles, divide into small aliquots, and store as a liquid at or below -20°C by adding an equal volume of glycerol. Repeated thawing and freezing should be avoided. If a slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation. It will not affect the performance of the conjugate. Dilutions should be stored at +4°C, not refrozen, and preferably used the same day. Avoid exposure to light.

Storage :

Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.
