Background :
Chickens were immunized with YPYDVPDYA (influenza hemagglutinin-HA- epitope) conjugated to KLH. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the immunoglobulin fraction prepared. Antibodies were immunoaffinity purified using the peptide immobilized on a solid support and the antibodies were conjugated to fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
