Product Name :
Mouse anti Human CD56, conjugated with PerCP

Description :
| Clone C5.9 | Isotype IgG2b | Product Type Single-Color Reagent | Units 100 Tests | Host Mouse | Species Reactivity Human | Application Direct Immunofluorescence Flow Cytometry

Background :
Derived from the hybridization of mouse Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c F1 mice immunized with KG1a cell line. Immunogen: Extract from KG1a cell line.

Source :
CD56, M.W. 150,000, is expressed on approximately 10-25% of human peripheral blood lymphocytes. CD56 (NKH-1) is expressed on human peripheral blood natural killer cells, representing a pan NK-cell antigen. Expressed on non-MHC-restricted cytotoxic T cells. Exalpha’s CD56, clone C5.9 has been recognized as the superior CD56 antibody for flow cytometry applications because of its specific and intense staining. Synonyms: CD56, NCAM1, Neural Cell Adhesion Molecule <

Product :
PerCp conjugated monoclonal antibody C5.9, rovided as solution in phosphate buffered saline with 0.08% sodium azide and 0.2% carrier protein Purification Method: Protein A/G Chromatography Concentration: Product provided titered for use in flow cytometry when used as indicated.

Specificity :

Applications :
PBMC: Add10 µl of MAB/10^6 PBMC in 100 µl PBS. Mix gently and incubate for 15 minutes at 2° to 8° C. Wash twice with PBS and analyze or fix with 0.5% v/v of paraformaldehyde in PBS and analyze. WHOLE BLOOD: Add10 µl of MAB/100 µl of whole blood. Mix gently and incubate for 15 minutes at room temperature 20°C. Lyse the whole blood. Wash once with PBS and analyze or fix with 0.5% v/v of paraformaldehyde in PBS and analyze. See instrument manufacturer’s instructions for Lysed Whole Blood and Immunofluorescence analysis with a flow cytometer or microscope. Functional Analysis: Flow Cytometry Staining

Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.
