Product Name :
Rabbit anti Human Caspase-7

Description :
| Isotype IgG | Product Type Polyclonal Antibody | Units 100 µg | Host Rabbit | Species Reactivity Human | Application Western Blotting

Background :
Immunogen: Rabbits with the aa 186-198 of human caspase-7

Source :
Caspase-7 along with caspase 3 and 6 form the group of effector caspases that are responsible for the cleavage of multiple substrates including the cytokeratins, PARP, alpha fodrin, NuMA and others. Caspase-7 occurs in three varient forms.Exalphas rabbit anti-human caspase-7 antibody reacts with the zymogen and with the 20-23 kDa subunit of caspase-7. Cells should be pretreated with 200 ng/ml of deoxyrubicin for one half hour. Exalphas caspase-7 antibody was generated by immunizing rabbits with the aa 186-198 of human caspase-7. Synonyms: Cysteine-requiring Aspartate Protease-7; Apoptotic protease Mch-3; ICE-like apoptotic protease 3 <

Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.
