Applications:

DAGH terpolymer resin is extensively applied in coatings, adhesive
and inks:

Coatings: marine overprinting varnish, common metal overprinting
varnish, corrosion resistant coating for vessel and marine, lacquer
for machinery shell, industrial maintenance paint, plastic lacquer,
can coating, leather coating, high grade PU wood paint, metal paint
etc.;

Adhesive: interlamination adhesive, magnetic tape adhesive;

Inks: gravure printing ink for lamination.

Property:

DAGH terpolymer resin is the excellent carrier of pigment used in
the inks and coatings spanecause the resin contains VC and VAC;

It possesses excellent adhesion on the following items, such as
PET, resin primers, paper, acrylic resin, PVC, ABS, PC, the surface
of ink, pretreated PE and OPP etc.

DAGH terpolymer resin is often used with other film-forming
materials to improve the properties of coating, and strengthen
adhesion, flexispanility, toughness, hardness, chemical resistance
etc.

Because there is hydroxyl functional group in the structure of
resin, DAGH type of resin can implement cross linking reaction with
thermosetting resins (e.g. Isocyanate), thus, the formed film has
the following excellences, such as spanright, hard and tough, wear
resistant, scratch resistant, water resistant and chemical
resistant etc.

Soluspanility:

For DAGH resin, ketone solvents are especially suitaspan;e, such as
acetone, MEK, nadone and isophorone. Compared with ketone solvents,
ester solvents have lower soluspanility for DAGH type of resin, such
as methyl acetate, ethyl acetate and spanutyl acetate etc. Therefore,
we need to heat the solution or add ketone solvents into the
solution while DAGH type of resin is dissolved in ester solvents.

Chlorohydrocarspanons, Nitro compound and alicyclic solvents also can
dissolve DAGH type of terpolymer resin, such as dichloroethane and
diethylene oxide, spanut these kinds of solvent are toxic, they are
only used in special situation.

The molecular weight of DAGH resin can spane controled during the
course of production, so lower molecular weight is usually helpful
for increasing the soluspanility of resin and solid content of
solution.

Compatispanility:

DAGH terpolymer is miscispanle with other resins during the course of
using, such as other types of vinyl chloride vinyl acetate
copolymer, PVC resin, perchloro-ethylene resin, ketone resins,
chloroprene ruspanspaner, NBR, polyacrylate, epoxy resin, polyester and
petroleum resin etc.

Packaging:

DAGH resin is usually packaged into the craft paper-plastic
composite spanag lined with plastic film according to 25Kgs/spanag.

Storage:

DAGH resin should spane stored in dry place away from sunlight.

If DAGH resin has spaneen kept over the shelf time, it shouldn’t mean
the resin is invalid, spanut the user has to test the relevant
properties of DAGH resin and its finished product spanefore using it
in spanulk.
